About the Project
Aelora is a next-gen platform built to manage offshore wind farms through remote monitoring, predictive analytics, and real-time turbine control. The goal was to build a seamless, cross-device experience that empowers field technicians and control room operators to respond faster, reduce maintenance costs, and maximize wind energy output.
Muse Creatives partnered with Aelora to transform the technical data-heavy system into an intuitive, visually engaging, and responsive platform.
Problems
- High cognitive load due to cluttered data presentation
- Lack of unified views across desktop, tablet, and mobile
- Poor alert visibility and system status tracking
- Operators had limited access to real-time feedback while on-site
Challenges
Designing a fluid, responsive interface that could scale across devices, from widescreen control panels to mobile phones, while preserving clarity, urgency, and data depth for different user environments.
Solutions
We created a dynamic UI system anchored in real-time responsiveness and visual hierarchy. Metrics like wind speed, power output, rotor performance, and turbine health were reorganized into interactive blocks.
A flexible theme switcher enabled usability across different lighting conditions. For mobile, we introduced a streamlined version with focused KPIs, live camera feed, and immediate status alerts, so operators could act quickly, wherever they are.
Mobile Experience
Recognizing that offshore engineers often work remotely, we prioritized mobile-first design. The mobile interface distilled core metrics into bite-sized visualizations without sacrificing detail. Turbine conditions, rotor speed, and energy output are accessible with a few taps, making informed decisions possible even in isolated zones.
Visual Identity
We built the design system using the Satoshi typeface for maximum readability, paired with a modern icon set tailored for industrial environments. Aelora’s new brand visuals now reflect innovation, stability, and ecological intelligence, aligned with the clean energy vision.
