About the Project

Finvergo is a Middle East-based fintech startup focused on expanding access to financial services for underserved communities. To launch their mobile-first platform in Iraq, they needed a fully bilingual app designed for clarity, inclusivity, and cross-generational usability.
Muse Creatives led the full design process, from UX research to RTL interface execution, with a focus on financial empowerment through intuitive design.

Problems

The platform lacked support for Arabic and RTL layouts, and its workflows were confusing, making financial data feel overwhelming to most users. Accessibility needs were overlooked, leading to high app abandonment across age groups.

Challenges

Designing a culturally localized, bilingual mobile app that simplifies financial tasks without losing trust or clarity.

Our Solutions

We developed a clean, accessible UI system with full Arabic-English language support and RTL layout integration. Dashboards were redesigned to visualize complex tasks like bill pay and savings clearly, while platform consistency was ensured across iOS and Android.

User-Centric Research

Our research identified key user pain points around app abandonment and feature misinterpretation. These insights guided content hierarchy, onboarding flow, and language switching mechanics.

Intuitive UI/UX Design

We implemented action-based navigation, icon-driven menus, and simplified financial workflows tailored to both novice and frequent users.

Localization

All content and navigation were translated and mirrored for RTL users. Region-specific icons and culturally familiar cues helped build immediate trust.

Streamlined Navigation

Tab structure, bottom nav, and quick-access gestures were introduced to minimize friction and allow easy movement between core actions.

Accessibility

High-contrast text, larger tap areas, and clean spacing improved usability across mixed-age users with varying digital literacy.

Testing & Iteration

Multiple prototype rounds were tested in both Arabic and English, resulting in refined navigation logic, improved form flows, and polished UI transitions.
